The restaurant was packed, and I could already feel the sting of rejection before it happened. The crowd, service and food are all better than it would be on a busy weekend. If a restaurant is open during either day, then it has likely left control to its lower tiered staff. Out of any other weekday, menu items tend to be freshest on Tuesday because it’s the day most restaurants receive the bulk of their meat and produce shipments. There is a difference between a good restaurant and a restaurant where the food, value, service and company have all lined up to make for something special.
