If you define your relationship habits by the seasons, your prospects can feel a little morose depending on the time of year. In the past, it hasn’t been uncommon to have a summer fling, or to hear about a friend’s ongoing attempts to avoid being alone on Valentine’s Day. Theoretically, this is all well and good, but in a practical sense, no winter relationship is ever quite as cut and dried as Cuffing Season suggests. As the Winter drifts into Spring, allow your relationship to melt down like the last few snow banks. Between Halloween and December, it’s fine to play the field, but you’ll want to be running solo by the time an Advent Calendar becomes relevant.
