It has a directory of registered users and provides details about the quality of the product, including the raw material used, processing methods, embellishments, weaving designs and its environmental and social compliances in production. Vishesh Nautiyal, director, south zone, Weavers’ Service Centre, says the handloom mark was launched to demarcate handloom from power loom, authenticate the construction of the fabric and provide high quality product.
