Gunmen killed six people and wounded 20 at a school in central Russia on Monday morning, local police said. Some of the children were victims, some were wounded, Bretcharov said. The school educated children from grades 1 to 11. The gunman shot himself, according to the governor and local police. Izhevsk, a city of 640,000 people, is located in central Russia, west of the Ural Mountains, about 960 kilometers (596 miles) east of Moscow.
