Éilís Ní Dhuibhne’s latest collection is Little Red and Other Stories (Blackstaff). It’s still a great novel and it surprises me that so few have read or even heard of it. Roddy Doyle’s latest novel is Love. The novel traces, with great wit and brevity, Marina’s troubled Irish childhood through into a dissociative adulthood in London.
