For some time now, one megatrend my company has been focusing on is the global number of internet users. Such investments are part of the overall infrastructure investments, which very often require some sort of government or public involvement. It’s much more difficult to convince voters about the value of digital infrastructure investments. Ironically, the crisis itself might support digital infrastructure investments. Not only did Facebook and Alphabet fare well during the crisis, but also digital infrastructure investments.
