Scroll down for videoThis meteor would be the second object observed to have visited us from outside of our solar system. According to Loeb, solar radiation pressure could be to blame for its acceleration - if it's an alien probe. This boost may have come from the interior of a planetary star system, or perhaps from a star out in the disc of the Milky Way. However, one had an orbital path that suggested it was gravitationally bound to the sun, and had thus come from within our own solar system. This could potentially tell us more about the composition of objects outside of our solar system, over which there is currently some uncertainty.
