Electronic voting is, at this moment, the greatest immediate danger facing Argentine democracy. A true detritus of the wonderful cybernetic progress of these times, the single electronic ballot system is being questioned and has faced backlash throughout the world because it fundamentally thwarts the voters’ control over the elections. This is why England, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland and Finland have already banned electronic voting after trying it out for a few years.
