Mild anaemia is typically the lot of the vast majority of people who have the condition in the first place. They may not even have any symptoms of having a lower than normal blood volume or red blood cell count. In moderately severe anaemia, there are some demonstrable effects which the patient begins to manifest. Severe anaemia is seen in all parts of the country in all age groups. Even for some others who do go to the hospital, death could still result depending on what was responsible for such severe anaemia.
