Former justice minister and attorney general, turned veterans affairs minister Jody Wilson-Raybould resigned from Justin Trudeau's cabinet on Feb. 12. Not a good look for this famously female-friendly prime minister. If she was deliberately trying to inflict maximum embarrassment on the prime minister, she couldn’t have done any better. Likewise, the prime minister should be prepared to answer questions and should authorize his senior officials to do the same before a parliamentary committee. On Tuesday he proclaimed that the government “did its job” and followed the rules in the SNC-Lavalin affair.
