The conflicted democracy: Cows, minorities and the Indian Constitution


Fear has been stalking a group of poor roadside food vendors in the Mewat district in the Indian province of Haryana. The second is the ambivalence with which the issue of cow protection has been handled by the founding fathers of the Indian Constitution.
