It dawned on me how difficult the Swahili language is, particularly when used technically. I have no doubt many children, particularly from the middle and upper classes would not take Swahili in school given a choice. I recently heard one child say that on Swahili days in her school, she might as well not talk. How many of you search the net using Swahili? If other countries, such as the US, India and China start using Swahili, it would become more popular here at home.
