He is pounding his head against Justin Trudeau’s Teflon in the Commons and is not even being accorded proper respect by the Prime Minister. There must be days when Andrew Scheer longs for his robes and his official residence at Kingsmere. Scheer said his caucus of “upstanding” men and women challenged itself to be the best it can be at all times. All is good, they say, the prime minister accepts the findings of the ethics commissioner and promises to be good the next time. Scheer, of course, could always look forward to Wednesdays when the prime minister takes all the questions, except Trudeau couldn’t hear Scheer.
