The law point in the friendship was reached when the US abandoned Ethiopia during its border conflict with Somalia. Once again Ethiopian forces served as ‘peacekeepers’ in Darfur, Sudan and Somalia. Right now it is a good time in the story to ask what exactly did Ethiopia get from this friendship? All I know is that no one has dared addressed our Ethiopia that way and I am most baffled.
