Orders for new sofas are on the increase. Furniture Village reports that searches for sofas on its website have risen 126 per cent year on year, with searches for corner sofas up 150 per cent. At Loaf, corner and chaise sofas have grown in popularity in the past 12 months. Customers of Love Your Home, keen to maximise their use of space, have been buying more sofa beds and storage beds. Retailers including Arlo & Jacob and Next report a marked trend for buying green upholstery.
