Caption caption XXXThe French embassy Thailand, together with the Institute Francis Paris, Institut Français in Hanoi and Bandung presents the "D17/20, Design In Southeast Asia" exhibition at Bangkok Design Week 2020. "D17/20 Design Southeast Asia" is a three-year project wherein 43 designers from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and France collaborate to design more than 100 objects using several types of material. The objective is to strengthen the design industry in Southeast Asia and to promote Southeast Asian designers. In the workshop, a local designer and a French designer are given specific materials to work with such as wood, leather and silk. Bangkok Design Week 2020 will be held at Marine Police Lodging Bangrak from Feb 1-9.
