The Walking Dead's Ratings Actually Went Up With The Midseason Premiere

There isn’t much good news out of The Walking Dead these days between falling ratings and departing cast members. Except that the show is, you know, actually quite good now under the helm of Angela Kang. Ratings are in, and the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead season 9 actually saw a bit of an increase from the midseason finale last year, going from 5.09 to 5.16 million. The Whisperers are scary and mysterious and we don’t really know what’s going on with them. It was a solid premiere all-around, as I really enjoyed the stuff with Negan as well as the Lydia capture and interrogation.
