Hitman, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, The Witcher 3 and others give players the choice between modes that favor visuals or frame rate. Now comes the One X enhanced version of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter which offers a combination of graphics options unlike any we’ve seen before on the console. As resolution increases, frame rate decreases when frame rate is uncapped. The visuals are not as sharp, but if you're bothered by the uneven frame rate issues associated with 2160p, 1440p is a good option. The PS4 has the same 32 fps problem as the One X when frame rate is capped at 30 fps.
