Since the Camp David accords, Egypt has been among the U.S.’s most reliable security partners in the Middle East and North Africa. While reforms to U.S. security cooperation could be part of the answer to this erosion, there are a few small, low-cost steps which could help create a better climate for joint security cooperation.
