The Trump Organization Said Trump Doral's Business Is 'On Fire.' It's Not.

(Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images) Getty ImagesLast June, Eric Trump proclaimed that business at the Trump National Doral resort in Miami was “on fire.” The numbers indicate otherwise. Doral pulled in $81.4 million in 2018 revenues between its golf and hospitality operations, according to President Trump’s latest financial disclosure form, released Thursday. The property has historically drawn much of its clientele from the Northeast, where Trump is largely unpopular. A source who knows Doral’s business told Forbes in October that the resort lost 100,000 booked room nights following the election. Earlier this week, the Washington Post found further confirmation from the Trump Organization itself.
