Tickets to the show sold out almost instantly, but back in June CBC announced it would air the concert live on CBC Television, Radio One, Radio 2, CBC Music and YouTube. The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor is joining the Canadian Cancer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador to screen the live concert. This is a free event with 2,000 tickets released. The free event is open to all ages and alcohol will not be permitted on the street. Several restaurants and pubs in St. John's, and across the province, are also advertising that they will be showing the concert live.
