The Times and Sunday Times readers raise £2.3 million in six weeks for Christmas Appeal


The news brands’ readers have been raising money for the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, the Refugee Council of Britain and Outward BoundThe match-funders of the appeal’s three chosen charities have been doubling readers’ generous gifts, with donations still being taken until 31 January. Of the funds raised so far, £362,000 has been pledged for the WWT, £780,000 for the Refugee Council and £1.13 million for Outward Beyond. Meanwhile, the Refugee Council will continue to welcome new arrivals with English language classes, advocacy support and help with mental health and integration.
