The giant blue superhero the Tick has been a comic, an animated series and even a live action television series. Created by artist Ben Edlund, the new “Tick” series will be released on Amazon, and Edlund will serve as the show’s creator and executive producer. The first of the new show’s half-hour pilots will begin streaming Aug. 19. And now the comedy series will live on yet again, 15 years after the last iteration, because everything old is new again, thanks to the power of nostalgia.
