There are many mistakes made by mostly teenage players during a college football game. The revolution of this author is against the tyranny of traditional eye-test ball spotting when technology could solve the problem. The problem was manifested on the big stage when the second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes were locked in an epic battle with third-ranked Michigan. Despite any other player or coaching errors, it still came down to this: If the fourth-and one spot leaves Ohio State short, it’s game over at that moment. Ohio State loses.
