KUALA LUMPUR: The Star has won big at the Malaysian Press Institute (MPI) Petronas Malaysian Journalism Awards 2020, bagging the first prize in four categories. Journalist Rebecca Rajaendram emerged top for the A. Samad Ismail Young Journalist Awards while photographer Azhar Mahfof bagged the first prize for Excellent Photo Essay category. THE MPI-Petronas Malaysian Journalism Awards was postponed in April due to the movement control order (MCO). ''Journalists will have to take on new approaches in presenting content in order to remain relevant,'' he said. Radzi also called on journalists to uphold ethics in journalism in order to keep reporting quality news.
