Chantal Hébert, a longtime Star columnist on federal politics, is the 2019 recipient of the Charles Lynch Award for outstanding public affairs coverage, one of the highest honours in Canadian journalism. Hébert is also a weekly participant on CBC’s The National and a guest columnist for Le Devoir and L’actualité. She is the author of two books and has received numerous awards for her work.
