The Royal Visit: 21 gun salute for King Charles IIIKing Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived at State House, Nairobi Monday morning for a formal ceremonial welcome. King Charles and Queen Camilla were honoured with a 21-gun salute before planting ceremonial African fern pine trees in State House lawns. King Charles III will proceed to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior at Uhuru Gardens. During their four-day state visit to Kenya the King and Queen will visit Nairobi City County, Mombasa County and surrounding areas. This will be the first official visit by the King Charles and Queen Camilla to an African nation since their coronation in May 2023.
