Well, investors were warned: April showers are indeed washing away all that sunny March optimism. Chinese April data released Wednesday was very bad, following a very good March. Retail sales grew 7.2% on the year, down from 8.7% in March—the slowest since 2003. Industrial growth slowed to 5.4% from 8.5%. All of this looks disastrous, right?...
