Dear Liz,I moved to a new city in March and since then I've only been able to find traditional, 40-hours-in-the-office type jobs. In my old town it was much easier to find work-from-home positions. Why are managers so hesitant to let people work where they want? I'm much more productive when I work from home, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels that way. I've asked my boss twice whether it would be possible for me to work from home one or two days a week.
