The Raptors’ names have changed some, but their game hasn’t in the NBA’s first quarter
The Raptors knew, deep in their hearts, and in their heads they were sure of it. “We’ve got some really special guys on this team,” Toronto coach Nick Nurse said in early October, something he’s been repeating ever since. The Raptors are 15-5, third in the East going into Wednesday’s games. What’s new, and most important, is that the Raptors have shown again a great adaptability and the ability to develop players while winning. They start trying to figure out where are the openings, and who can we go to, and things like that.
