The Pinker twins of Whanganui are all businessGRANT MATTHEW/STUFF Cary Pinker and his identical twin brother Warrick have come to the Taranaki men's open fours to win it. The Pinker twins Carey and Warrick don't talk much. The Whanganui duo have been playing bowls for 29 years, they say in unison, and for 28 of those have been coming to the Taranaki men's open fours. Neville Elliott, executive officer of Bowls Taranaki and one of the main organisers of the tournament, described the twins as "aggressive bowlers that hate to lose." Luckily their boss gives them plenty of time off to compete in tournaments around Whanganui and surrounding regions, they said.
