No one who claims sanity would dispute the fact that reconciliation is a cardinal and inevitable feature of human relationships. In this regard, if Mr. Kyari and Mrs Oyo-Ita have resolved any personal issue (s) between them, that is certainly good news. In case Kyari and Oyo-Ita have forgotten so soon or chosen to ignore the fact, the Maina story, one of the biggest scandals in the nation’s history, is not a private affair between two government officials. Now that Kyari and Oyo-Ita have ‘reconciled’, are the issues that brought about the friction between them now supposed to be swept under the carpet? We call on the Federal Government to ensure that the Maina mess is not swept under the carpet.
