October’s job report was released on Friday, with the headline 250,000 number coming in better than expected. For this report ,August’s job number increased by 16,000 while September’s decreased by the same amount, canceling out their impact to the total. There has been a fair amount of rhetoric about job growth since President Trump took office. Candidate Trump touted that there would be 25 million jobs created over 10 years if he was elected. Participation rate is flat over two yearsThe workforce participation rate is almost exactly the same as it was when President Trump was elected.
