The New York Democratic Committee is under intense fire after it sent out a mailer implying that Cynthia Nixon, who is running for governor of New York, is anti-Semitic. Cynthia Nixon accused New York governor Andrew Cuomo of approving a mailer that alleged she was anti-Semitic. 'Governor Cuomo didn't approve of or have any knowledge of the mailer in question,' she posted on Twitter. The New York State Democratic committee executive Geoff Berman also took to Twitter on Sunday calling the mailer a 'mistake'. 'The mailer sent by the NY Democratic Party in the 11th hour falsely attacking Cynthia Nixon is beyond unacceptable — it’s downright Trumpian.
