The NMRC has added four more stations to the list of stops for fast trains.

“Keeping in mind popular public demand, non-stoppage stations by rapid trains have been examined by the NMRC,” stated NMRC Managing Director Ritu Maheshwari. On weekdays, the NMRC runs “fast trains” from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Between Noida and Greater Noida, these trains skip 10 stations with low average attendance. On August 2, the NMRC added Noida Sector 81 to the list of fast train stoppages, while the status at the other nine stations remained unaltered. The NMRC launched a “fast train” service between Noida and Greater Noida on February 1 this year, with the goal of reducing travel time during peak hours.
