Mount Toubkal in the ‘Anti-Atlas’ Mountains reaches over 4,000mI’m standing under the coal-black metal tripod – tattooed with mountain club stickers and blotchy graffiti – that crowns the top of Mount Toubkal. The 4,167 metre-peak is the summit of Morocco, as well as the highest point in the northern part of this continent and the Arab world.
