Board members around the world have confidence in their organizations' ability to deal with crisis situations, but they are less confident that they—and their organizations—are prepared for a crisis, according to a Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited survey report. Fewer than half of 317 board members surveyed say their organizations have the capabilities or processes in place required to handle a crisis with the best possible outcome. Survey results also indicate that many board members are not engaging with management on crisis readiness issues.
