The Maccabi Soccer Mums beat Hampton 6-1 last month, with Jennifer Rosenthal scoring four goals, and Hayley Molnar and Limor Bar Gad kicking one each. The game was one of the first played in a tournament comprising soccer mums from affiliated clubs, getting women involved in soccer. For Maccabi club president Kevin Milstein the idea has grown much bigger than the club could have anticipated. Maccabi FC “Go Soccer Mums” takes place on a Sunday evening at 7.30pm at Caulfield Park.
