Around 13:00 p.m. today, Friday, July 19, the Maritime Surveillance Service of the Dénia Local Police has proceeded to rescue and tow a motorboat that, after running out of engine due to a rope getting tangled in its propeller, ran aground in the beach of the northern breakwater. Given the proximity of the arrival of the Formentera and Ibiza ferries, which generate breaking waves at the point where the boat was stranded, we have proceeded, also thanks to the collaboration of several bathers, to quickly return the boat to the water and tow it to the public moorings in the port of Dénia. There has been no personal or material damage.
