Adapted and directed by Luca Silvestrini for his company, Protein Dance, and devised with the well-chosen cast members, this often physically lively yet emotionally delicate production has been conceived as an artful piece of children’s entertainment without sacrificing adult appeal. Designed and scored, respectively, by Yann Seabra and Frank Moon, it looks and sounds a treat. Published in 1943 and featuring the author’s illustrations, Saint-Exupéry’s fable became a cross-generational global phenomenon.
