Tripoli, 12 December 2021:The Libya International Conference for Trade and Investment under the banner ‘‘Towards the South’’ was held in Tripoli and Ubari between 10 and 11 December as part of efforts to attract investment to the south of Libya. The papers and interventions called on businesses, investors, and international companies to invest in the south to benefit from natural resources and energy, open horizons of cooperation and benefit from the geographical location of Libya, the gateway to Africa, especially in transit trade. Several foreign investors were reported to have attended the event.
