Out of the protests came a new movement: #DeleteUber, a social media campaign encouraging people to delete the Uber app and their accounts with the company. Being open to working with Trump was not what protesters wanted. After all, Tesla's celebrity CEO, Elon Musk, is also on Trump's advisory council but hasn't faced significant protest for it. As worried as they are about angering the Trump Administration, other stakeholders are a much more immediate problem. The #DeleteUber campaign may not affect Uber's multi-billion dollar global business trajectory.
