Sustained winds throughout the four-hour parade sustained winds were about 22 mph (35 mph) with gusts up to 39 mph (63 kph) at certain points. That’s going to be the question of the morning on Thursday for the giant balloons at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
