And according to the New York Times, that’s just what some of the top restaurant groups in the U.S. are doing as they put Dallas at the top of the list for their expansion plans. It’s just part of a larger Dallas Retail Re-volution trend in a city that’s booming with eatertainment, next-gen retail, high-tech immersive entertainment, and more, as Dallas Innovates noted earlier this month. “The Dallas-Fort Worth area has no beaches, mountains or world wonders, but it has about 15,000 places to eat,” the NYTimes noted. “You have no idea the velocity of spending that happens in that market,” Julie Macklowe, founder of the Macklowe American Single Malt Whiskey, which lists for $350 to $400 per shot in Dallas restaurants, told the Times.
