Regarding your editorial “Vote on the Green New Deal” (Feb. 12): Sen. Ed Markey’s resolution to make the U.S. run on 100% carbon-free electricity within 10 years raises an interesting question. His home state of Massachusetts this year will lose 688 megawatts of carbon-free electrical-generation capacity when the Pilgrim nuclear plant closes.
