Hejl Roussel had recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in psychotherapy but hadn't settled on a career path. Hejl Roussel arrived in 1971, and was sent south to a base in the Mekong Delta. Hejl Roussel has a vague recollection of that day, because it was unusual to meet with only a few soldiers.
