Brian Calley will lose by double digits in today’s Republican primary for governor. Ignoring pleas from aides and the Republican Governors Association, the president yesterday tweeted a strong endorsement of Secretary of State Kris Kobach over the Republican incumbent. Justin Richards, the vice president for political affairs at the RSLC, which oversees the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association, noted that Mississippi Lt. Gov. Balderson, a two-term Republican state senator, is working to retain GOP control of the 12th District.
