This summer, you’ll have the opportunity to find out courtesy of NYC’s most famous drag queen: Lady Bunny. What happens when you put a bunch of legendary drag queens on a boat cruise around NYC? For anyone with an investment in the history of drag culture or queer performance, Wigstock should be a familiar name. Last year, Bunny and Lifshutz revived the festival in the form of a boat cruise around Manhattan. The two-hour show will be co-hosted by drag queen celebrity Linda Simpson and feature Connie Fleming, Jimmy James, Ebony Jett, Glamamore, Juanita More, John Kelly as Joni Mitchell, and Tabboo!
