Critics were mostly positive, though, handing out an 83% aggregate score on Metacritic and making Fear Street Part 1: 1994 a “Certified Fresh” horror movie. Fear Street 1994 plays it relentlessly safe, so I suppose it’s no wonder there are so few missteps involved.
