As of May 1, the Canadian Women’s Hockey League would be shuttering its operations. The Canadian Women's Hockey League is no more. According to Inferno general manager Kristen Hagg, they won’t officially exist after May 1 unless the team finds another league. Woodworth said the Inferno’s players try to be as involved as possible with female hockey players — inspiring them to consider hockey as a career.
